PARIS! March 14-17

Last weekend I went to Paris, France with one of my roommates who has a friend studying in Paris. Her friend is living with a host family and they allowed us to stay there for the weekend! We didn't get there until later Friday evening because traveling took awhile, too many buses and trains! But that first night we went to dinner at a place called the Spaghetti bar. It was a really cool, modern restaurant in the gay district of Paris. We all spit really good spaghetti and wine! Then that night we went to a few other pubs and bars for a little while, in France they stay out pretty late. The next day we went to the Luxembourg Garden's and just sat and looked at the view for awhile. It was really relaxing. We also went to ......... then for dinner we went to a place called "Indiana" and the food was pretty Americanized. It was funny because all the decorations were pictures of Indians and Indian accessories were all over. So i guess they associate Indiana with Indians? kinda funny! Then we went to a really cool bar called Footsies. Its suppose to be like a stock market and the prices of the drinks are listen on a big board above the bar, and they change every so often, and then sometimes the stock market will crash and the drink prices are really cheap. So we all had a lot of fun there! Sunday morning we all slept in for a while then we ate breakfast at a place called "Breakfast in America" because we all wanted eggs and pancakes and it ended up being really good! The rest of the day we just walked around. At night we went to see the Eiffel Tower, which was really cool because it was lit up. Monday morning we got up at 5am to start our travels back to Milan and got home around noon! I absolutely loved Paris and would go back if I had more weekends and time! Maybe someday...

Sounds like a great trip! You are very blessed and fortunate to have such great parents (especially your mother) that would let you have this amazing opportunity and experience to travel all over Europe!
