London!!
I went to London for the second half of my spring break to visit some of my friends from IU! My plane left at 6:40 am on Sunday, so it was a long day of traveling before I even got there. It was also quite depressing taking money out of the ATM because i got 100 pounds for 200 dollars! My friends live in Nottingham, which is a really nice area in London. The first day we walked around Kensington Park and saw where Princess Diana lived. We had lunch at a little pub around their neighborhood and I tried the fish n chips, which was actually pretty good! The next day we walked around and saw Big Ben, the London eye, and Buckingham Palace. The weather was really nice, not like the typical rainy, cloudy days they normally have in London. The next day my friends had to work so me and my roommate from Milan did a day trip to Wimbledon! We took a tour around the tennis courts! Unfortunately center court is closed until the tournament this summer because they are putting a retractable roof so they will be able to play when it rains. But we were able to see Court 1 and a lot of the other little ones. They also have a really cool museum that we walked around in before the tour. We left the next day because we started classes again on Thursday!

Spring Break Cruise and London!! march 22- april 3
I went on a cruise in the Mediterranean Sea for Spring Break with two girls in my class! It was suppose to go to sardenia, Sicily, Oblia, Malta, and Africa!! We found out on the 3rd day that the weather was way to bad and therefore making the seas really rough to go to Africa and Malta. It was really disappointing but they took us to a port near Rome and Nice, France instead, which were both really cool to see! In Sardenia we took a train to see Pompei and the ruins. However, we didnt realize that the tours to see the ruins closed at a certain time of the day, pretty early, and we missed the last tour by like 15 minutes! The weather during the beginning was not too good either but we still had a great time! Nice, France was the most beautiful city I have been to. We walked along the beach and layed out for a little while! The food on the cruise was really good too! We had like 7 course meals every night offered to us. I tried risotto for the first time and it was really really good! Overall, I had a really good time and the girls I went with were really nice and we had a lot of fun together!
